Case Study

Objective

Create an agentic layer within Salesforce Setup to assist Salesforce Admins in their various CRUD actions. Our agent processes natural language inputs to search Salesforce metadata and make changes. Put simply, we finally added an AI-empowered organizer to the most disorganized0-1 junk drawers of Salesforce.

Process

My design process for Agentforce for Setup focused on creating a vision for Salesforce executives, securing funding for the program, amd guiding the design efforts of six staff designers. I also contributed to three IC verticals and worked horizontally across the program and Salesforce Design to ensure AXL and SLDS alignment. I presented project overviews in multiple modes at Dreamforce 2025. I also helped create a general and extensible design process for any Salesforce ecosystem team that wants to consume our services. We went from vision to pilot in under six months, and we just released our open pilot, which included a second design iteration.

Outcome

0-1 pilot in six months. We redesigned the first product UX/UI to suit accessibility needs and user feedback asks. We shipped our closed pilot in October 2024, and we pushed our updated product to an open pilot in January 2025. Along with the rest of the program, I earned a Salesforce FY26 Astro Award, which is an executive-nominated award for team collaboration amongst Technology and Product Teams.
